Financial Issues

Unless you are only shooting digital, you will need to discuss who will pay for supplies such as film, processing, and reprints. The shelter may already have arrangements to pay for some of these things so discuss with them what arrangements they have. If you want to, you can either volunteer to pay for some of these items although it is usually not necessary.

For the photography we do, we usually pay for our own film since we prefer certain kinds. We buy it in bulk from http://www.bhphotovideo.com where the price is very reasonable. For more information on processing and reprints, see Choosing a Lab.
